The Berghaus Paldor Peak jacket is made from Gore-Tex® Paclite fabric so it's extremely lightweight and packable. Incredibly, despite only weighing 395g, it's a fully featured mountain jacket with an adjustable foldaway hood and three external pockets. The Paldor Peak is highly breathable thanks to its Gore-Tex® membrane and the two mid height side pockets also act as vents to further improve comfort. When it's not in use the jacket will pack down very small into the supplied stuff sack....

Nikwax Tech Wash is a wash-in cleaner for waterproof clothing and equipment that safely revitalises breathability and water-repellency. The product is a non-detergent soap which can be used regularly to clean clothing ad equipment without damaging the Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coatings. Use the product instead of detergents or washing powder to safely remove grime, dirt and stains from the fabric. It is recommended to periodically further wash the garment with a product such as Nikwax TX Direct. This will help re-waterproof the fabric. However, each treatment should be washed in seperately and not on the same wash. Treatments are best placed in a wahing ball in the machine, though it can be applied direct to fabric (messy!) or in the machine drawer.
