Wayfayerer Individual Flameless Heater Pack
Warm food anywhere, any time and without the need for matches, gas, lighters, fuel or even flames. The individual heater pack is self contained and flameless meaning your ration of food can be heated wherever you are outside. Simply tear open one heater sleeve at the top arrow, insert an unopened meal pouch, add 40ml of water. Follow three further simple instructions explained clearly on the pack and around 12 minutes later the meal is ready to eat. The heaters have been specially designed to heat a 300g (10.6oz.) retort pouched meal (IMPs/MREs) to 80°c in 12 minutes without matches, fire, stove or electricity. The heaters are replacing hexamine and trioxane solid fuel tablets in todays military and emergency survival use. This type of heater is used routinely by the US military to heat their MREs (meals ready to eat). The flameless heaters will provide a guaranteed source of heat no matter where you are. Unlike fire that needs oxygen to function properly, the heaters can be activated anywhere including on top of Mount Everest - (as used successfully by mountaineer George Tumpach of Seven Summits Expedition) or in the middle of an ice storm as reported in Emergency Preparedness Digest in April 98.
